LibroNest is a local-first audiobook app for people who listen to audio files they own. This policy explains what the app and website collect, what stays on your device, and how to contact us.
Analytics settings
Website analytics is optional and off until you choose Allow analytics. If you agree, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page views, visits, engagement, approximate location, and browser/device information. Google processes this information and may process it outside your country. We do not send audiobook files, library data, listening history, URL query strings, or URL fragments. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled. We save your choice in browser storage for up to 180 days; analytics cookies also expire after 180 days. You can withdraw consent at any time using Analytics settings in the footer; this stops collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Rejecting analytics does not affect the website or app. See https://policies.google.com/privacy for Google’s privacy policy.
With consent, we also measure Store download-button clicks by platform, button location and website language. A click is not an installation.
Information we collect
The LibroNest does not require an account. The app stores your imported library, playback progress, bookmarks, app language, theme, and storage settings locally on your device.
The app does not upload your audiobook files, listening history, bookmarks, or local library by default.
If you email us or request support, we receive the contact information and message content you choose to send.
How we use information
Local app data is used to show your library, resume playback, save bookmarks, and remember your settings.
Messages sent to LibroNest are used to answer support requests and improve the product.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share your audiobook files because they are not uploaded by default.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed for communication, product operations, and legal obligations.
Future optional features
Optional sync, account, or community features may be added later. Those features will be separate from local playback and will require clear user action before data is sent.
Children
LibroNest is not directed to children under 13. Please do not contact us if you are under 13.
Local diagnostics and website hosting
The app keeps a small, local diagnostic log of technical error types. It does not include audiobook names, file paths, listening history, or purchase tokens, and is not uploaded. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for app data in version 1.1.11 and later.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information to deliver and protect this website. Microsoft, Google, and Huawei process store purchases and update checks under their own privacy policies.
The AppGallery edition uses HMS Core IAP SDK, provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd., to process transaction records for purchases and subscriptions. Huawei Update SDK processes app details and device type, brand, and operating system to check for updates. LibroNest securely stores signed purchase receipts on your device for offline Pro access. LibroNest does not send audiobook files or listening history to these services.
